Local 30-73 Life Member Kirke Walker recently designated the Young Musicians Scholarship Fund as his beneficiary for the full amount of his Twin Cities Musicians Union life insurance benefit. Kirke, a violinist, has been a member of Local 30-73 since 1968. On behalf of the YMSF Board and all of the young musicians who will benefit in the future from Kirke’s generous donation, we simply say thank you. Of course we also continue to wish Kirke a long and healthy life.

We are truly fortunate to have so many generous members. Remember that your donations to the Young Musicians Scholarship Fund are now fully tax deductible. Donations can still be sent to the Local 30-73 office, but make sure that checks are written to the Young Musicians Scholarship Fund.
