MUSIC TEACHER
Al has successfully taught all the styles of Voice, Songwriting, Piano, Keyboard, Organ, Guitar, Bass, Harmonica, Mandolin, Percussion, Drums and most fretted instruments to hundreds of men, women and children since 1960 in both English and Spanish.

He has also taught both physically and mentally challenged individuals music therapy methods for non-musical purposes and usage.

PERFORMER
Al began his music studies at age 9 and made his musical debut at the age of 12 in his home town of San Antonio, Texas. Since then, he has played with such famous musical giants as Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich, Count Basie and Kris Kristofferson, just to name a few.

He is completely at ease singing and playing an entire spectrum of both Classical and Popular music such as Big Band Swing, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Country-Western, International & American Folk, Sing-a-Long fun songs and Gospel music.

Currently, Al is playing and recording locally either as a solo artist or with a fantastic, versatile duo, The Serendipity Band. The Serendipity Band is also available for Hire to play for your special occasions by request.

COMPOSER ARRANGER AND SONGWRITER
Al Ynigues has composed scores for films and original orchestrations for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, U.S.C. Orchestra, U.C.L.A. Orchestra. Also radio commercials and original songs. Al is very active in arranging secular, worship and fun tunes in various levels and styles of achievement for his students.

Al Ynigues has an extensive background and expertise of over 5 decades in the set-up and repairing of all types of domestic and international string instruments, including, Acoustic & Electric Guitars, Acoustic & Electric Basses, Mandolins, Banjos, Violins, Violas, Cellos and many other interesting stringed instruments from around the world.
